Mapping Opportunity: Knowledge & Networks for Social Change

In Virtual Roundtables, Upcoming Events by Digital Impact0 Comments

What kinds of tools and information help people connect around philanthropy and social change?

Join us on Wednesday, June 28th at 11am PT / 2pm ET to learn about two data-driven platforms aimed at supporting collaboration among grantmakers and nonprofits.

Launched by MAKAIA, the Nodo Ká platform in Colombia includes directories, indicators, a marketplace of services, and various search tools to help nonprofits and funders find each other.

The Foundation Center in the U.S. builds customized maps for groups of grantmakers, performs network analysis for nonprofits and foundations, and offers a mapping tool for users to visualize issues of their own.

What makes these systems work, who uses them, and what’s next for both of these platforms?

Join us to explore these case studies in building knowledge and networks for social change.
