Andrew Patricio is the founder of Data Effectiveness Inc, focusing on helping organizations increase the return on their investment in data science and analytics. He previously was the most senior technical leader at DC Public Schools for 6 years where he led all work on data systems and data reporting. Prior to that he had an extensive career in consulting for both commercial and government clients. He no longer has hobbies other than sleep as he is busy with the data consulting company, two pre-schoolers, a pregnant wife, a sweet but very bad dog, and entirely too many youtube videos of puppies. He has a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and holds unnecessarily strong opinions on science fiction TV shows from the 80’s.→

As Senior Program Officer of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Bin Pei is the China lead in developing and executing the Charitable Sector Support strategy, working closely with inter-government agencies, think tanks, academia, social organizations and international experts on some of the fundamental issues hindering the development of charities and philanthropy in China. Bin also supports the foundation’s policy, advocacy and government relations’ work in China to engage China as a development partner. Bin joined the foundation in August 2010 and has brought her passion, enthusiasm and extensive experience to support the foundation’s work to engage and mobilize China as a development partner.→

As part of CECP’s research and analysis team, Carmen Perez manages CECP’s Global Corporate Giving Initiative. In this role, she connects funders, philanthropy networks, and advisors with data, research, and technology to encourage more strategic and collaborative giving. Lisa previously headed up a philanthropic advisory practice at a private bank and served as a program officer, communications and government relations director at a regional association of grantmakers, and board member of two affinity groups of funders.→

Previously she worked in the technology sector as a communication strategist specialized in international market development. Since 2004 she’s been running international relations for various nonprofit organizations in Poland. Agata graduated from Institute of Applied Linguistics on the University of Warsaw and Spanish and European Law Centre run by Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha and University of Warsaw. Knowledge Management Coordinator, WINGS
Ana Pinho is currently WINGS' knowledge management coordinator. For the past 10 years Ana has worked for grassroots and international non-governmental organizations in Brazil and the United Kingdom on a variety of subjects including human rights, gender, adult education, and public policy. Ana joined WINGS in 2011, and since then has done extensive research and data collection on philanthropy infrastructure, contributing to different publications and projects, such as the Community Foundations Atlas. Ana coordinated the work towards WINGS' two latest reports: "Infrastructure in Focus - A Global Picture of Organizations Serving Philanthropy" and "Global Status Report on Community Foundations - 2012 Update".→

Lela Prashad is chief data scientist and co-founder at NiJeL.org. Lela directed the 100 Cities Project at Arizona State University until 2012 and is still active in urban research with ASU. Prior to NiJeL she established and ran the water program for the environmental non-profit Arizona PIRG and worked with the United States Geological Survey's Earthquake Hazards Team, and Arizona Departments of Environmental Quality and Water Resources. Lela holds an Master of Science in Geological Sciences from ASU and a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.→
